LONDON: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Shehbaz Sharif was recently spotted in London by a Pakistani family.
Sharif is in the United Kingdom to meet his ailing granddaughter – the daughter of Hamza Shehbaz Sharif.
On Tuesday, Sharif was seen peeking through the glass window of a closed shop when a family from Pakistan saw him and drew his attention.
Clad in his traditional style of safari suits with a hat, Sharif immediately stepped back from the shop, turned towards the family and proceeded to shake hands with them.
The family, whose faces are not visible in the video, and Sharif can be heard exchanging pleasantries.
Sharif is then asked about his wellbeing by the people in the car, to which he responds in a positive, light-hearted manner, and thanking them.
It is not uncommon for members of Sharif family in particular and Pakistani politicians, in general, to be spotted in London.
Last year, a citizen spotted former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in London and trolled him, alleging him of financial misappropriation.
