Shehnaaz Gill reveals she blocked Salman Khan’s number

Bollywood actress Shehnaaz Gill revealed she blocked superstar Salman Khan’s number when he approached her to work in their upcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan‘.

Shehnaaz Gill made the revelation in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘. The actor said she got phone calls from an unknown number when being in Amritsar.

She said she blocked the number as she did not want to entertain the calls, only to be later informed that the ‘Dabangg‘ star was calling her.

“I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurudwara when I received a call from an unknown number,” she recalled. “And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me. 

“Just to verify, I put the number on the Truecaller app and found out that it was actually Salman Khan calling me! I immediately unblocked him and called him back; it was then that he offered me the film and that’s how I got the film.”

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan‘ is scheduled to release on April 21, 2023. It is about a man refusing to marry since he believes it may create disharmony in his big family. 

His brothers, who’ve already found partners, come together to find a match for him.

The cast of ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan‘ also features late actor Satish Kaushik, Bhumika Chawla and Palak Tiwari.

Boxer Vijender Singh, who won the bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, along with South Indian sensation Ram Charan will be seen in the film.

Farhad Samji has directed the film. Sushila Charak and Sajid Nadiadwala are the co-producers. Himesh Reshammiya, Ravi Basrur, Devi Sri Prasad, Sajid-Wajid, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Sukhbir have composed the music.
