Pakistan, Saudi Arabia like one body, says Imam-e-Kaaba

LAHORE: Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany on Tuesday said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were like one body, ARY News reported.

“Every citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sees relations with Pakistan with great respect,” Dr Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany said while addressing media. He was flanked by Acting Punjab Governor Ch Pervaiz Elahi.

He said Saudi Arabia truly valued Pakistan’s role in Muslim Ummah. He said he had brought the message of good wishes from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

Pervaiz Elahi said the Imam-e-Kaaba was playing his role for brotherhood among Muslims. The kingdom’s role in every challenging time had been unforgettable, he said.

He said during visit of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to Pakistan several agreements were signed.

“Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s love for Pakistan is laudable,” he said.

Pervaiz Elahi said Pakistani expats living in Saudi Arabia were sending huge remittances back.

The visiting Imam-e-Kaaba also led Maghrib prayers at the historic Badshahi Masjid in Lahore. A large number of people offered the prayers.

President Dr Arif Alvi on Monday said that Pakistan greatly valued its brotherly relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
