ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office in Islamabad, ARY News reported.
Matters of mutual interest, overall political situation, Pakistan-India tension and other issues were came under discussion in the meeting.
In the wake of Pak-India tension, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain hailed the role and decisions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and assured the premier of his party’s full support.
Housing minister Tariq Bashir Cheema and PM’s special adviser on political affairs Naeemul Haq were also present in the meeting.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and his cousin former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, on December 28, had called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed the current political situation in the country.
According to the details, they had stressed the need to enhance cooperation between PML-Q and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to tackle the negative approach of the opposition parties.
Member National Assembly Moonis Elahi and PM’s Special Assistant on Political Affairs Naeem-ul-Haq were also present during the meeting.
