Sindh govt orders to register foreigners, put 93 seminaries on watch list

KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to register all the immigrants living legally or illegally and to put 93 seminaries on watch list in Sindh, ARY News reported.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah directed the law enforcement agencies to prepare database and record of the foreigners.

“Database of foreigners and residents of slum areas should be prepared, while 93 madrasas (seminaries) should be put on watch list,” he said while presiding a high-level meeting in Karachi regarding law and order situation in the province.

Director General Rangers Sindh Maj. General Bilal Akbar, Additional Inspector General Sindh police, Home Secretary Sindh and other high officials were also present on this occasion.

Giving approval of operation in Sindh, the CM said indiscriminate operation should be conducted against terrorists across the province. “All out efforts should be to improve law and order situation,” he said.

He said soon an Apex Committee meeting would be convened on law and order situation.

The meeting strongly condemned the Quetta terrorist attack and offered Fateha for the martyred.
