Sindh orders cancellation of thousands of arms licenses

According to details, Sindh Cabinet on Wednesday met to discuss different provincial affairs. The meeting was briefed that over 10 lac arms licenses were issued in the province, out of which nearly six lac licenses could not be verified.

Officials recommended for the cancellation of unverified arms licenses, which was approved by the cabinet.

The meeting that lasted for more than three hours also discussed targeted operations in Karachi and directed the IG Sindh for speeding up targeted actions at places where needed.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah directed all the ministers to prepare for the forthcoming local government (LG) elections in Sindh.

Moreover, the cabinet also discussed affairs pertaining to the purchase of wheat in Sindh.
