Sit-in not ended, it is shifted countrywide, says Qadri

Addressing a rally in here on Thursday, Dr Tahirul Qadri said neither he has ever left the people alone, nor will he do so now and vowed to continue his struggle with same fervor.

He said that the Awami Tehreek is taking a break during the month of Muharram to let the workers prepare for a revolution.

The PAT chief said our sit-in awakened the nation and now we have opened another front for a revolution in state.

Qadri said that his party has no differences with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the PTI leadership was informed about this decision three weeks ago.

He directed his followers to form committees and prepare for the local body (LB) elections in the country.

The PAT

chief reiterated his stance of providing all the basic facilities to the people of Pakistan including health, education and employment. He vowed that his party will raise its candidates on every seat in the LB elections.

Dr Qadri said few elements are criticizing him over the end of sit-in in Islamabad adding, “We do not require their consensus or opposition, we are concerned about the revolution”.

He said that today the people of Abbottabad and Hazara Division have given their decision, in favor of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).

Moreover, he said that his party will hold public meetings in Bhakkar on November 23, in Sialkot and Mansehra on December 14 and 21 respectively, and at Mazar e Quaid on December 25.
