KHAIRPUR: An intermediate student sitting in an exam hall died of heat stroke amid extremely hot weather and loadshedding in Sindh’s Khairpur district, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
The incident took place at a government boys’ degree college in Therhi town of Khairpur district today.

The deceased Class 11 student’s body – identified as Mehtab Merani – was shifted to the Civil Hospital Khairpur.
The college administration said that the student felt suffocation after loadshedding and later he fell on the floor and went unconscious.
Earlier, the provincial minister for the education board announced to declare the examination centres loadshedding free citing the difficulties of the students, however, the power outages are not yet stopped in several areas across Sindh.
