ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court on Wednesday suspended a court verdict about restoration of Zaka Ashraf as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), ARY News reported.
Islamabad High Court had restored Ashraf as the chairman of PCB.
Three-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on a plea of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, suspended Zaka Ashraf and restored Najam Sethi on the top post of the cricket body.
The ministry's counsel Asma Jahangir had challenged the IHC decision in the apex court.
The court also restored the executive committee of the board.
