An airport is a complex of runway’s and building for the takeoff, landing, maintenance of aircraft with facilities for passengers. Aircraft can be stored in building called hangers these hangers protect them from the weather conditions, aircraft maintenance is also performed in hangers.

Airports also has terminal where passengers can board and disembark from aircraft at commercial airport terminals passengers can buy tickets and check in or pickup their luggage. It also has control towers where air traffic controllers worked to supervise the efficient and safe movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air. Ground controllers also coordinate with the ground vehicle such as field trucks and maintenance vehicle.

airport has two areas, Arrival and departure normally arrival operations are done on the ground or first floor of the building and departure operations are performed on the second floor of the building.
