Begum Kulsoom Nawaz

Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is the first lady of Pakistan. he was born in Lahore and she belongs to a Kashmiri family.Kulsoom Nawaz is the wife of Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. She has four children two daughters and two sons. Kalsoom has two sisters and a brother. Kulsoom Nawaz completed her intermediate from the Islamia College, and Bachelors from the Forman Christian College University. Kulsoom finished her MA from the University of Punjab Jati Umra after marriage.

She has four children, two daughters, and two sons. Her girl, Maryam, is the former chairperson of her father’s youth initiative. Her other little girl, Asma, is married to Ali Dar, the son of Ishaq Dar, the finance minister of Pakistan, while her the two sons named, Hassan Nawaz, and Hussain Nawaz. They both are currently the citizen of England and doing their family business.

Kulsoom Nawaz had played vital role in Nawaz Sharif politics and supported PML-N in their harsh days. She alone stood against General Pervez Musharraf while her husband was arrested by the military and kept in Adiala Jail. Begum kulsoom nawaz has earned NA-120 Seat of her husband Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif home seat. In 2017 She was reportedly been diagnosed with throat cancer. she was likely to opt for chemotherapy instead of surgery.

After her prolonged illness of lymphoma (throat) cancer which was diagnosed and treated in United Kingdom, Kulsoom Nawaz couldn’t fight with it more and died on 11 September 2018. She was under treatment while she died. On September 14, 2018 she was laid in lahore next to the grave of her father in law and brother in law.
