Chairman Senate

Chairman Senate is the most superior chairman among the provincial & national house chairman. Whereas Senate is the superior house in Pakistan, Senate was founded with the foundation of constitution of Pakistan 1973.

The prior reason for the creation of Senate was to equal priority should be given to each province and each member of senate should have elected from the provinces of Pakistan. The major role of senate is to make new laws or to amendments in the existing laws.

Chairman Senate is selected by the member of senate with voting session within the house. As the member of the house has the right to choose the chairman, they also have the right to submit a resolution of no confidence against the chairman and demand for re-elections for the seat of chairman.

As being the superior to all the other houses in the absence of the President, chairman senate also works as the temporary President of the state. Sessions are usually called by the chairman him/herself but it can also be conducted on the request of the members of the senate.
