Dera Ismail Khan

Dera Ismail Khan also known as D.I. Khan located at the western part of Indus River in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the city is named after Isma il Khan who was a son of Baloch Chief during the 15^th century due to its geographical location the city was considered one the important city in the previous centuries.

D.I. Khan city was a medium for the people travelling from Iran towards sub-continent. People used to stay in the city while travelling. It is also one of the historical city with multiple archeological site still present with in the city.

Dera Ismail Khan is famous tourism yearly thousands of local and international tourist’s Hindu community visit the city yearly to pay visit to their religious site, the city is also known for its massive production of multiple types of dates and is one of the largest dates exporting city of Pakistan.
