Gilgit Baltistan is recognized as the northern areas of Pakistan. Southern part of gilgit is linked with azad Kashmir, western areas include Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern areas are associated with Borhan corridor & Afghanistan and east side is linked with China

The judicial system of gilgit Baltistan is same as the judicial system of any other country the high court of gilgit Baltistan is known as the chief court and the supreme court is recognized as Appellate court. Having multiple waterfalls and crystal clear lakes, Gilgit-Baltistan is known as the Paradise of Pakistan. World highest 30 peaks are situated in this region.

World second biggest glaciers are also present in the valley. The region is famous for international tourism. The region is spread on 2,850 Square Mile which is the 6th largest region of Pakistan with the total population approximately 2 Million. Climate remains human friendly throughout summers, it raises up-to 15-20% maximum and falls more than-3% in winters. Gilgit has its own national animal “Markhor”
