Sadiqabad

Sadiqabad city located in the province of Punjab the city is also the capital of Sadiqabad tehsil and it is also the last tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan district. The city was established by Nawab Muhammad Sadiq on 18^th November 1935 and the city is also named after him.

The city is the only city of Pakistan which independence dates are celebrated as the birth date of the city, and world’s third city. On 18^th November 2019 the 84^th birthday of the city was celebrated in the entire city.

The most beautiful and famous Bhong Mosque is also located within the city. The mosque construction was started in 1932 which came to an end after the independence in 1982. During these 50 years hundred and hundred workers took part in creating one of the most beautiful mosque in the country.
