Younis Khan

Younis Khan on drive is as much as a reality as are death and taxes. His bucket like hands at slips worked on an unreal montony mode, plucking blinders at will. Younis’s hop-shuffle across the sticks looked like an exaggeration to the purists but bloated were his numbers as well.

He was born on 29th November 1977 in Mardaan. Younis Khan started his cricket on grass route level in district Mardaan from under 19, but in 90 he entered in MCB colts cricket team. He was with Shahid Afridi, M Yousuf, Asim Kamal, Atiq uz Zama’an, Hassan Raza, Farhan Adil and M Zahid in MCB colt’s team. His first club was Malir Gym khana. Younis Khan started his career by one day match in 13th February 2000 against Sri Lanka.

In 26th February 2000 he played his first test match against Sri Lanka and succeeds in this match. Mr Khan is a 1st Pakistani and 14th World batsman, who made 31 centuries and scored 9000 runs. He nominated for the ICC test player of the year in 2005. Younis Khan is a only batsman of Pakistan and 12th World batsman, he played centuries against every country. Younis Khan is fond of fishing.
