Yousaf Raza Gillani

Yousaf Raza Gillani also known as the 18th Prime Minister of Pakistan, Gillani started his political career 34years ago during the President General Zia ul Haq tenure. Born on July 9th 1952 in a prominent family of land lord who were also actively present in Politics. His grandfather was one of the leader of Tehreek-e-Pakistan.

Famous Hamid Raza Gillani was the uncle of Yousaf Raza Gillani, after his early education Gillani had obtained B.A in journalism and M.A in Political journalism in university of Punjab in 1976. He had achieved multiple position in his entire political career.

Yousaf Raza Gillani joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in 1988 and still associated with the party after getting associated with the PPP he stood for the general elections and left Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif with a huge lead and again became the member of National Assembly later he was added in the federal cabinet of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
