Tahir ul Qadri hospitalised in Toronto after chest infection worsened

TORONTO: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir ul Qadri on Monday shifted to Toronto Hospital for medical examination after reportedly falling ill, ARY News reported.

According to Spokesperson PAT Noorullah Siddiqui, Dr. Qadri is suffering from chest infection.

The spokesperson said that the party chief has been admitted to the hospital in Toronto after his condition deteriorated.

He was going through chest pain for last few days, he added.

The party spokesperson has appealed the people to pray for recovery of the ailing leader.

Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri has been a Pakistani politician and scholar of Islamic thought. He has taught International Constitutional Law at the University of Punjab in Lahore.
