Taking advantage from Chinese expertise in agriculture : PM Imran

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that Pakistan is taking advantage form Chinese expertise in the field of agriculture.

Chairing a meeting on agriculture and livestock, PM Imran said that restoration of agriculture was the part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) manifesto and added that progress in agriculture will eventually increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country.

He said that China had assured them cooperation in the agriculture field and added that they will take benefit from latest research and new tools in the agriculture field.

Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan has decided to establish Allama Iqbal University in Sialkot and will visit the city tomorrow. During the visit, PM Imran will lay foundation stone of Allama Iqbal University and will inaugurate Knowledge Park in Sialkot.

It is pertinent to mention here that PM  Imran Khan and Chinese President Xi Jinping reviewed the bilateral relations and held in-depth discussions on regional and global issues of mutual interest on November 2 in Beijing.

President Xi had renewed commitment to strengthen the Pakistan-China strategic cooperative partnership for shared future in the new era. He had reiterated China’s steadfast support to Pakistan on all issues of core interest.

PM Imran had told the Chinese president, ‘I’ve come to learn from China’s experiences.’
