MOHMAND AGENCY: Taliban have claimed responsibility of the landmine blast that took place today in Mohmand, claiming life of peace committee head, ARY News reported.
Taliban spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan phoned up media personnel and claimed that the attack was carried out by their fighters.
The landmine blast took place in Tehsil Ambar Kasai of Mohmand Agency. Umar Khurasani, faction of Taliban group, has claimed responsibility of the attack.
Attacks on security forces and peace militias in Waziristan and northern areas were common amid military operations against militants in the area.
Pakistani security forces have now given 15-day deadline to North Waziristan-based tribes to expel militants from the area.
