Taliban threat: Foreign diplomats ordered to restrict movements

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has issued directives for restricting movement of foreign diplomats in the country in view of threats from the Taliban, ARY News reported Friday.

The interior ministry has released an advisory for foreign diplomats stationed in Pakistan to restrict their movements. It asked them to avoid visiting public places and markets for 10 days.

Sources told that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has threatened to attack US embassies across all provinces of the country. Suicide bombers have been assigned the task of attacking foreign missions, they added.

Three people have been arrested who were capturing pictures of sensitive buildings in Islamabad. Two of them were arrested from within the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station while one was nabbed from the remits of Margala Police Station.
