Teacher cuts hair of schoolgirls for not learning subject by heart

CHINIOT: In a weird incident, a female teacher on Monday scissored hair of 15 girl students in a school of Chiniot for not learning course subject by heart, ARY News reported.

The incident took place in Government Girls Elementary Model School, Ahmedabad.

The students said the teacher had threatened to shave their heads if they did not learn their subject by heart.

Talking to media, parents said there was no need to chop off hair of the girls instead they should have been informed about it if the students had not learned their subject by heart.

The parents had threatened to hold protest if they were not provided justice. They said they had given an application to the deputy commissioner in this regard.

In Sept 2017, a man had been sent to prison for 10 months after he knocked down a school teacher and almost hit two children in a fit of road rage.
