Terrorism can be frustrated with unity of international community: Sartaj

“The terrorists are expanding their network. The global community would have to gather at one platform on one-point agenda to counter terrorism,” he said, replying to a query about recent attacks in Saudi Arabia, while talking to the media in Islamabad.

He said the terrorists needed to be responded in the same brutal way in which they attack.

Sartaj Aziz also said that forthcoming NATO Summit in Warsaw was taking place under the long shadows of terrorism, turmoil and continuing conflicts.

He said expediting peace process in Afghanistan would yield benefits.

The adviser said operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan and concerted operations in other parts of the country against terrorists have been very successful and as a result, dividends have started reaching the people of Pakistan.

He said Pakistan appreciates acknowledgement of our contributions by the international community.
