Suspected commander of banned outfit held in Quetta

QUETTA: Intelligence agencies and anti terror forces arrested a commander of a banned organization during a raid in Quetta on Sunday, ARY News reported.

According to details, intelligence agencies and anti-terror force carried out a joint operation near Airport Road and arrested a terrorist working for a banned outfit.

Weapons, computer, explosive material, a military uniform and jihadi literature were seized from the arrested terrorist.

He was shifted to an unknown location for interrogation.

It should be noted that three masked gunmen on 24th October stormed into a police training academy in Quetta, killing at least 62 under-training policemen.

Security has been put on high alert in the major cities following the attack on the police training academy.

On 16th October, law enforcement agencies shot dead two terrorists during a combing operation in Quetta.
