The security forces on an intelligence report about presence of suspected terrorists in Bannu launched a search operation in Janikhel area. A terror suspect was killed and four others arrested in a gunbattle between the forces and the militants, sources said.
The arrested suspects included key militant commanders, sources said.
A large quantity of arms was captured from the possession of the arrested suspects.
The search operation has been underway to capture other suspects, sources added.
