KARACHI: Thai Airways on Thursday announced the resumption of flight operations for Pakistan from Bangkok, which was suspended due to the Covid-19, ARY News reported.
According to details, flights to Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad will start from February 1. Thai Airways will operate weekly twelve flights to Pakistan.
There will be 4 weekly flights from Bangkok to Lahore and from Lahore to Bangkok.
Flights will be operated from Thailand’s capital to Lahore on Tuesdays and Fridays. In this context, Thai Airways has also started selling tickets.

On the other hand, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has also lifted the Safety Significant Concern (SSC) on the Civil Aviation Authority, after which the possibility of lifting the EU ban has become clear.
It should be noted that the various countries are also considering travel bans in view of the Omicron strain of the COVID-19.
