Three bodies and injured girl found from Lahore graveyard

LAHORE: The police on Wednesday found three bodies of the members of a family and an injured girl from a graveyard of Lahore’s Shadbagh area, ARY NEWS reported.

According to police, the bodies of the victims along with an injured girl, Rabia, were recovered from Chan Shah graveyard, located in Shadbagh, Lahore.

“Our step-brother, Sajawal brought us to our father’s grave in the pretext of paying his respects and opened fire at us, killing my stepmother and two sisters on the spot,” injured Rabia continued.

Later on, the injured girl and bodies were moved to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.

As per initial investigation report of the awful incident, bodies of mother and her daughters were recovered nearby grave of deceased daughters’ father, Malik Billo.

It was learnt that Malik Billo was killed by his two wives, who are currently serving jail term, 25 days earlier, reads the initial investigation report.

Police was further investigating into the matter to nab the culprits behind the dreadful incident.

Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, taking notice of the incident, has summoned report from the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore.

The Chief Minister has ordered authorities concerned for the immediate arrest of the culprits. The family of the deceased to be dispensed justice into the matter, he continued.
