SHANGLA: Tremors were felt in parts of Shangla, a district headquarters of Alpuri – Khyber Pakhtonkhwa, in early hours of Thursday, ARY News reported.
Tremors stirred panic among local people and forced them to come out on streets. The tremors were felt in Alpuri, Basham, Kalorah and Shahpur divisions. The quake was said to be mild in nature.
However, no official statement was issued by Pakistan Metrological Department on intensity of mild tremors felt in Shangla. There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property.
