Trump once kicked One Direction out of his hotel

One Direction band member Liam Payne has recalled an unpleasant run-in with future president Donald Trump.

In an interview with Rollacoaster magazine, the boy-band member said Trump once kicked One Direction band members out of their hotel in New York.

Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once,” he explains. “You wouldn’t believe it. It was about (meeting) his daughter.”

“He phoned up our manager and we were asleep,” Liam continued. “He said ‘well, wake them up’ and I was like ‘no’ and then he wouldn’t let us use the underground garage”

Liam said “Obviously in New York we can’t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us.”

“So he was like, ‘OK, then I don’t want you in my hotel.’ So we had to leave.”

Liam did not reveal which daughter he was referring but is likely to be his younger daughter Tiffany who is close to the One Direction age range.

Liam is also set to release his highly anticipated solo debut album.
