Twin explosions in Swat claim life of security personnel

Sources told ARY News that the explosions occurred one after the other in Utror area of the terror-hit valley.

Initial reports suggested that just when security personnel took control of the area following a roadside bomb explosion, which went off injuring two people in Utror, the second explosion occurred.

The second explosion turned out to be a deadly one after the security forces confirmed the death of a security personnel.

In all two bombs were planted in the area and after the first explosion, the second blast was carried out by a remote-controlled device, said bomb disposal squad.

Security officials have cordoned off the area after the latest attack on the security forces in Swat while a search operation has started in Utror to locate the culprits.

Meanwhile, the dead and wounded has been shifted to nearby hospitals for medical assistance.
