According to details, police raided a house on a tip off from prisoner and recovered three bombs. Returning from the raid, the terrorists attacked police and freed their captive aide.
The police instantly cordoned off the area and searched for criminals, the crossfire between police and the criminals ended in the killing of two terrorists while a sub inspector and a constable were injured.
The incident took place in Alipur tehsil of Muzaffargarh district of Punjab.
Police sources say that both the terrorists belong to Ahmad Farooq group of Al- Qaeda, an international terrorist organization.
CM Punjab while taking notice of the incident has demanded a report from IG Punjab on the matter.
