RAHIM YAR KHAN: Two children suffered burn wounds when a school van caught fire in Rahim Yar Khan on Saturday, ARY News reported.
According to rescue sources, the van caught fire on Taj Garh road. As a result, two of the children traveling in the van suffered burns and were shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The cause of the fire couldn’t be ascertained immediately.
Separately, four people were wounded when a fire erupted near the Channi Goth road in Liaquatpur area.

All the injured were shifted to a hospital.
Earlier, in Jan this year, a minor girl and a van driver were injured when their school van had caught fire.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Korangi, Ali Raza, relayed that rest of the children remained unharmed in the unfortunate incident.
“School bags of several students were burnt inside the van,” he added. “Police responded to the scene immediately.”
