According to details, the two absconding robbers named Asghar Hussain alias Kakri and Imran alias Hirni made contact with 11,000 megawatt power transmission line passing through the roof of their hideout in a village in Muradpur police station jurisdiction, leaving both of them dead by electrocution.
Police said that the deceased robbers were involved in several crimes including robbery, dacoity and extortion.
More than 10 cases were registered against Hussain in different police stations whereas Imran was booked in 31 different crimes, police officials said.
