Two 'fake' vans of Rangers and police seized in Karachi

In a media briefing today, Brigadier Khurram of Karachi Rangers said they recovered two vehicles, which were faked as Rangers and Police vans.

He told that the both the vehicles were being used by a hospital owner for security purpose for his sanatorium. He, however, did not name the hospital.

To everyone’s surprise, the brigadier informed that the guards deployed with the van were also attired in police and Rangers uniform. It was difficult for anyone to determine whether they were fake law enforcers, he added.

He appealed that citizens and other concerned people must avoid using vehicles of Rangers and police for personal use that could breach security parameters.
