The blast ripped through near Loni Road that claimed lives of two people. Police sources say that a road was planted along roadside that went off. The two people who lost their lives were riding a motorbike when the blast took place.
The identity of the dead could not be ascertained as yet. They were moved to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Law enforcers reached the spot shortly after the incident and cordoned off the area. Police said they had begun the investigation into the foul play.
