Deputy Speaker Imtiaz Shahid has been notified as the provincial law minister, while Jamaat-i-Islami’s Muzaffar Saeed has been named as the new finance minister of the province.
The finance minister portfolio fell vacant when former finance minister Sirajul Haq quit the ministry after being elected as JI party chief.
The law ministry had fallen vacant following the death of former Law Minister Israrullah Gandapur in a suicide attack on Oct 16, last year.
