Karachi police arrest robber using advanced technology

KARACHI: Using an advanced technology, Karachi police have arrested an alleged criminal here on Saturday, ARY News reported.

The criminal and his assistance had robbed a shopkeeper in Jamshed Quarters area and snatched valuables from him including a mobile phone on March 01. The incident was caught on a CCTV.

The criminal’s assistance Iqbal was recently shot dead during an incident of robbery.

Jamshed Quarters police identified the robber with the help of CCTV footage and traced him through International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number of cell phone.

The robber was wanted in several incidents of robberies.

IMEI number is a unique identification serial number that all mobile phones have. It is 15 digits long. The IMEI number can be found on the back of your phone or on the box of your phone.
