LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar Khan on Tuesday directed the the provincial bureaucracy to do result-oriented work, ARY News reported.
“Now that when the bureaucracy has been given full liberty for doing work, we want results,” Usman Buzdar said while presiding over a high level meeting at the Punjab Civil Secretariat, Lahore.
He gave guidelines to the administration and police about good governance and public service delivery. He directed for implementation on 19-point agenda for good governance and public service delivery.
The Punjab chief minister said police and the administration would have to enhance governance through joint and strong efforts.

Presiding over another meeting in Lahore on Tuesday, Buzdar reviewed matters relating to formation of new districts in the province.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that a special committee will review the recommendations for new districts.
He said that reforms in health, police and education departments were among the top priorities of government.
In November last year, Prime Minister Imran Khan had urged the Punjab government to adopt innovative methods in governance.
“The provincial government should pay its full attention on bringing about a significant change in the common man’s life,” he had said.
