SAHIWAL: A minor boy who fell into a hole bored for tube well on Tuesday was recovered after hour-long effort in Sahiwal, ARY News reported.
The four-year-old child held up his nerves during the rescue operation as he was successfully lifted up from dark and narrow hole using an iron rod.

A day earlier, a child got injured after getting hit by a vehicle of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar’s protocol. Following which, the CM took notice of the incident and sought an inquiry report into the accident.
According to details, Usman Buzdar directed the deputy commissioner and district police officer Sialkot to visit the family and inquire after the child’s health.
On the directives of the Punjab CM, the two senior officials visited the family and presented sweets and compensation money.
Later the child’s father forgave the driver, who inadvertently hit the child. Sources said the child sustained minor injuries. He was shifted to a local hospital for first aid treatment.
