National Congress Party MLA from Karjat Constituency Suresh Lad slapped Deputy Collector, identified as Kalgutkar, in his office in Maharashtra’s Raigad district.
In a video that went viral on social media, Lad was seen slapping Kalgutkar in his office. The incident took place recently at a meeting called by Kalgudkar to solve land acquisition related issue.
The victim, however, refused to file a police complaint for all that happened and said that he has written a letter to his senior authority and did not file a police complaint for his own personal reasons.
Lad assaulted the official for the delay in the procedures and slapped Kalgutkar in his office, which he later denied.
