VIDEO: Man takes challenge to perform ‘push-ups’ on elephant’s back

BANGKOK: A tourist took an unusual challenge of performing the 22 push-ups and that too on elephant’s back to raise awareness of Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Jerry Romine said he was participating in the viral “22 push-up challenge,” which called on participants to perform 22 push-ups a day for 22 days to raise awareness of post traumatic stress disorder in veterans, when he passed through Thailand.

Romine said he and his friends found an elephant trainer south of Chiang Mai, Thailand, who agreed to let him perform his daily push-ups on the pachyderm’s back.

The elephant patiently allows Romine to complete his exercises without protestation.
