Hundreds of pounds of cooked, mushy pasta of different types have been found dumped along a creek in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey.
The mysterious, tangled piles of pasta including spaghetti, macaroni and ziti were found dumped in an NJ forest last week, leaving the authorities and residents of the town equally baffled.

Nina Jochnowitz, a former city council candidate and community advocate, shared the pictures of the bizarre occurrence on social media before they caught the attention of social users and were widely circulated across the sites.
Witnessing the scene herself after being alerted by a local resident, Jochnowitz described it as ‘not the worst thing’ she has seen in the woods. “We see a lot of people dumping stuff, such as discarded furniture,” she explained adding that the township does not offer garbage pickup services.
Concerned and disgusted with the environmental impacts of the decomposition of the pasta, she contacted the local officials of the town, and upon getting no response, Jochnowitz decided to take her complaint to the social platform Facebook and soon the local food-dumping fiasco turned into a worldwide mystery.
That’s not about it, it continued with all from the pasta puns to the discussions to identify culprits.
