Waqar Younis on Monday had stepped down from his post expressing discontent with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The former fast bowler thanked the players in the team and said that he was sad to leave his family.
He also thanked his wife and children for their support in a different tweet.
Pakistani batsman Mohammad Hafeez, in his tweet to the former head coach, said
that it was a privilege and honor to work with him. The ex-pacer replied with, “A father always pushes his kids.Please always remember my goodness and advise and pardon my anger.Make me proud and succeed.”
Former Pakistani cricketer Azhar Mahmood said that passion behind Waqar’s work was inspiring on which Waqar thanked him for his kind words.
