BLITAR, INDONESIA: A Dutch national set a new Rubik’s Cube record as he solved the puzzle in 4.74 seconds.
According to a foreign news agency, Mats Valk solved a Rubik’s cube in 4.74 seconds while taking part in Jawa Timur Open in Indonesia.
Valk’s achieved the milestone in the second round of the competition, in which he emerged victorious with an average time of 8.53 second.
The previous record of 4.90 seconds was held set by 14-year-old Lucas Etter who is a student of Maryland High School.
