According to Radio Pakistan, Lodhi made the statement while speaking at a forum at Harvard University.
She said that Pakistan has been playing a positive and active role in addressing the problems of peace, climate change and development. She added that Pakistani troops have served in 41 peace keeping missions in 23 countries across the world.
She added that political solution is the only practical method to bring peace in Afghanistan.
