Will not become part of ‘illegitimate change’ in Sindh: GDA

GHOTKI: The Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi on Sunday said the alliance would not become part of ‘an illegitimate in-house change’ as they wanted change through the constitutional process, ARY News reported.

“Organisation of the party will be started from Khan Garh. The people have been made realised that the GDA is the most powerful party in the province,” Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi said while addressing a press conference flanked by other GDA leaders including Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Ayaz Latif Palijo and Ali Gohar Mahar in Ghotki.

He said the GDA would fully take part in the change, if it came in accordance with the constitution.

Ayaz Palijo said the Sindh government was ruining the agriculture sector. “Pain is being inflicted upon farmers by slashing sugarcane prices,” he said. Palijo also backed Sadaruddin Shah’s stance that the party would never become part of any illegitimate change.

Ali Gohar said he had an old relation with the family of Pir Pagara. He rued that the people of Ghotki were being neglected.
