SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said that dropping of money laundering charges by London Police against MQM founder is the failure of Pakistan’s federal government, ARY News reported.
The opposition leader was talking to media in his native city of Sukkur on Friday.
Khursheed Shah said that that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has clashed with the judiciary whenever it has come into power.
He claimed that PML-N governments don’t follow the court orders and always gives a tough time to the judiciary for enforcement of court rulings.
The opposition leader stated that the government has imposed ban on a columnist of a renowned English newspaper to hide its mistakes. He said that placing restrictions on media by the government is acting like a monarchy.
He also said that the government of Sindh is working to cancel the quotas of the MNAs and MPAs in government jobs.
