YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast is facing backlash online for giving an entire car to a waitress as a ‘tip’.
The fourth-most subscribed channel on YouTube with over 130 million subscribers, MrBeast is best known in the digital world for his videos featuring expensive stunts. However, even the regular audience of Donaldson did not see the recent move coming.

In a short clip posted on his official TikTok handle earlier this week, the content creator gave a brand new car to a server at a restaurant, as a ‘tip’.
In the video, he asked the waitress named Amy about the biggest tip she has ever received in the profession, to which, she confusingly replied, “$50.” He continued to ask the lady if anyone has ever given her a car in the tip, before handing out the keys of a black Toyota sedan to her.

The two then walked to the parking lot to see the vehicle, covered with the logo of Feastables – his chocolate brand.
Amy sat in the front seat with the YouTuber with all her excitement and overwhelming emotions. “I’m in such shock right now. I don’t even know how to drive,” she told MrBeast with a casual mention of how she got late to work the same day because of her ‘Uber being slow’.
The clip garnered 50 million views on the platform and went viral all over the internet, after which, several social users blasted the YouTuber for the cheap move, using a woman for the promotion of his venture.

“Don’t get me wrong this is a nice thing but I wouldn’t love driving around a feastables branded car. Maybe it was just for the video,” a user commented.
Another wrote, “So basically she has to do promotion for his company by driving the car. He also is getting a big tax write-off from this… . she has to pay for gas and insurance too.”
