Zen Studios to launch Pinball FX3 on Xbox One

Zen Studios has announced that pinball simulator video game Pinball FX3 will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10 as continuation of the pinball series.

Mel Kirk, Vice-President of Publishing, made the announcement in a blog post, and said Pinball FX has a long and storied history on Xbox Live, having released in the early days of Xbox LIVE Arcade in July 2010.

This was almost seven years ago, and since that time the game has evolved, a huge community has developed, and Zen Studios has released more than 65 pinball tables based on some of the biggest names in entertainment.

However, Kirk said that now the time has come to evolve the Pinball FX2 platform.

Pinball FX3 is dubbed as the biggest, most community-driven pinball game ever created. The goal is to bring the community together with multiplayer matches, user-created tournaments and league play.

Over the years, many players have expressed their desire to better understand the game of pinball, and to be able to experience the secrets that each table hold.

New single-player modes have been developed that will help make players develop their skills and perform better allowing the depths of the table to be experienced.

Zen Studios said it is honoured to provide players with one of the best values in gaming – players can bring the majority of their previous PFX2 purchases to PFX3 at no charge. Zen will confirm to table roster as it gets closer to launch and the details on how importing would work.

Players can stay tuned to Zen’s social media channels and pinballfx.com for more announcements and news leading to the launch, including brand new day one content for PFX3.

Zen Studios thanked the Xbox community for years of support. Kirk said they never dreamed to be working on this game after all these years, but it was made possible due to the fans.
