The former India captain made his concerns public about BCCI restricting the time families could spend with players during international tours.
“It is very difficult to explain to people how grounding it is to come back to your family every time you have something intense happening on the outside… I don’t think people have an understanding of what value it brings. I feel quite disappointed about that,” he said during a recent interview.
“People who have no control over what is going on are kind of brought into conversations and put out in the forefront. Maybe they need to be kept away,” Virat Kohli added.
Now, Anushka Sharma, the biggest cheerleader of the Indian cricketer, has shared a cryptic post in which she discussed the idea of ‘you.’
Taking to her Instagram Stories,
the Bollywood actress wrote, “A different version of you exists in the minds of everyone who knows you. The person you think of as ‘yourself’ only exists for you, and even you don’t really know who that is. Every person you meet, have a relationship with, or make eye contact on the street with, creates a version of ‘you’ in their heads.”

However, it was the latter para in her post that led netizens to believe that Anushka Sharma was indeed taking a dig at BCCI following Virat Kohli’s public criticism of the guidelines about families.
“You’re not the same person to your mom, your dad, your siblings than you are to your co-workers, your neighbours or your friends. There are a thousand different versions of yourself out there, in people’s minds. A ‘you’ exists in each version and yet your ‘you’, ‘yourself’ isn’t really a ‘someone’ at all,” the Bollywood actress wrote.
